Al Nassr stages comeback to defeat Al Fayha and stay top of the Saudi Pro League
Al Nassr came from behind to secure a valuable 3-1 victory over Al Fayha at Al Majmaah Sports City in Round 24 of the Saudi Pro League.
An own goal by Abdulilah Al-Amri deep into first-half stoppage time handed Al Fayha the lead.
Despite dominating early, Al Nassr missed key chances, including a penalty from Cristiano Ronaldo that struck the post. Goalkeeper Orlando Mosquera denied attempts from Marcelo Brozovic, while Kingsley Coman narrowly missed the target.
In the second half, Sadio Mané equalized in the 72nd minute, before Al Nassr added two more goals, the last coming from Abdullah Al Hamdan in the 85th minute.
The win lifts Al Nassr to 61 points at the top, while Al Fayha remain on 27 points in 12th place.
