A goalless draw is enough.. Zamalek reaches the Confederation Final

The goalless draw was decided against Zamalek and CS Belouizdad, in the match that brought together the two teams in the second leg of the CAF Confederation Cup semi-finals at Cairo International Stadium, in a match characterized by tactical caution and friendliness until the last moments.

Zamalek entered the match with the advantage of winning the first leg with a goal without a response, which gave it a relative advantage in managing the rhythm, as it focused on defensive balance while trying to exploit counterattacks, while CS Belouizdad sought to press from the beginning in search of A goal that brings the confrontation back to zero.

He was organized and succeeded in closing the spaces, while relying on substitutions to activate the lines, as the technical staff presented several cards, including the participation of Lotfi Boussoir and Adam Kayed, in an attempt to change the offensive system.

Despite the close numbers, as the two teams were equal in the number of shots at 13 each, and Zamalek had a relative superiority in possession by 52% compared to 48%, the absence of the final touch prevented them from scoring the net throughout the match.

And in the end, Hafez Zamalek advanced 1-0 on aggregate, clinching the qualification ticket to the final, while CS Belouizdad bid farewell to the tournament after a strong performance that did not translate into goals.
