Al Hilal SFC and Al Ittihad Club shared an intense 1-1 draw in Matchday 23 of the Saudi Pro League at Kingdom Arena.
Malcom gave Al Hilal an early lead in the 4th minute after a precise cross from Salem Al-Dawsari. The situation worsened for Al Ittihad when Hassan Kadesh was sent off in the 9th minute following a VAR review.
Despite being a man down, Al Ittihad responded in the second half, with Houssem Aouar heading home the equalizer in the 53rd minute from a cross delivered by Muhannad Al-Shanqeeti.
The result leaves Al Hilal on 53 points and Al Ittihad on 37 in seventh place. However, the draw benefited Al Nassr FC, who now sit alone at the top of the league standings.
