Bournemouth claimed a dramatic late victory over Liverpool with a thrilling 3-2 win in the match held at the Vitality Stadium, as part of the 23rd round of the Premier League.
Bournemouth opened the scoring in the 26th minute through Evanilson, capitalizing on a defensive mistake by Virgil van Dijk. The ball reached Scott, who delivered a precise cross finished neatly by Evanilson.
In the 33rd minute, Alex Jimenez doubled Bournemouth’s lead after an assist from Hill, putting Liverpool under early pressure. Just before halftime, Van Dijk pulled one back for the Reds with a powerful header from a corner kick in stoppage time (45+1).
Liverpool pushed forward in the second half and found the equalizer in the 80th minute, as Dominik Szoboszlai converted a clever short free-kick taken by Mohamed Salah with a brilliant strike.
Despite Liverpool’s comeback, Bournemouth sealed a dramatic winner in the 94th minute through Amin Adli, securing one of the most exciting victories of the round.
Following the defeat, Liverpool remain on 36 points in fourth place temporarily, while Bournemouth moved up to 30 points in 13th position.
