Al Hilal secured a convincing 4–1 victory over Al Fayha in their clash during Round 17 of the Saudi Roshn League, further extending their lead at the top of the standings.
The match began with an early surprise as Al Fayha took the lead in the 14th minute through Fashion Sakala, capitalizing on a moment of defensive confusion. However, Al Hilal quickly regained control.
The equalizer came in the 37th minute via Serbian midfielder Sergej Milinković-Savić, before Al Hilal completed the comeback just before halftime when Al Fayha goalkeeper Orlando Mosquera scored an own goal in the 45th minute, giving the visitors a 2–1 lead at the break.
In the second half, Al Hilal continued their dominance. Mohammed Kanno added the third goal in the 61st minute after an assist from Rúben Neves.
Deep into stoppage time, Brazilian forward Marcos Leonardo sealed the emphatic win with the fourth goal in the 90th minute, confirming Al Hilal’s superiority.
With this win, Al Hilal tighten their grip on first place in the Roshn League, continuing to pull away from their closest challengers and underlining their strong title credentials.
