Dreams of one goal.. Zidane reveals his stance on returning to coaching
Frenchman Zinedine Zidane, the Real Madrid legend and former coach of the Royal team, revealed his stance on returning to coaching again amid his name being linked with several clubs and national teams.
Zidane has not had any coaching experiences since leaving Real Madrid at the end of the 2020/2021 season, when he took over the coaching of the Royal team for a second spell.
Zidane has been linked in the past period with coaching more than one team, most notably Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain, and the US national team, with news emerging of him leading the French national team after the end of the 2026 World Cup.
Zidane: I will return to coaching
Zidane said, during statements highlighted by Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano: “I will definitely return to work to coach one day, this is my plan.”
He added: “I want to be the coach of the French national team one day, but let’s see what happens.”

Zinedine Zidane led Real Madrid in 263 matches, achieving 174 wins, 53 draws, and 36 losses.
