Significant Absences in Zamalek Ahead of Al-Ahly Clash

Zamalek is preparing to face its traditional rival Al-Ahly next Sunday in the final of the Egyptian Super Cup.

Zamalek qualified for the final after defeating Pyramids in the semi-finals through a penalty shootout, winning 5-4, following a goalless draw in regular time.

The newspaper reported that Zamalek is facing some absences ahead of the anticipated match, most notably midfielder Nabil Emad 'Donga,' who is suspended, along with striker Nasser Mansi, who was excluded for technical reasons.

The newspaper added that the coaching staff is monitoring the situation of four players regarding their participation in the match: Oday Al-Dabbagh, Mahmoud Bintayij, the Brazilian Juan Bezerra, and goalkeeper Mohamed Sobhi. The medical team confirmed that Al-Dabbagh and Bintayij sustained minor muscle injuries during the semi-final match against Pyramids, and they are scheduled to undergo further examinations to determine their fitness.

The top match between Al-Ahly and Zamalek will take place at 5:30 PM Cairo time and 6:30 PM Mecca time.
