Omar Marmoush, the star of the Egyptian national team and Manchester City, expressed his pride in being an Egyptian player in the English Premier League, hoping that his career will be a source of hope for young players.

Marmoush replied: "It's an honor for me, I try to represent my country in the best way possible. I'm happy to be Egyptian and to have the opportunity to show our capabilities because we have a lot of talent.".

The Man City star added: "I hope to give courage and confidence to others in Egypt and to young players to take a step and start achieving their dreams.".

Since the start of the current season, Omar Marmoush has participated in 4 matches and provided one assist for his teammates. He missed most of City's games due to an injury sustained while playing for the Egyptian national team against Burkina Faso, in the African qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup.
