Luka Modrić Scores His First Goal for Milan (Video)

Croatian international Luka Modrić scored his first goal for Italian club AC Milan during their match against Bologna, in the third round of Serie A.

The Croatian legend joined Milan in the summer after his contract with Real Madrid ended, continuing his career at the age of 40 under the guidance of Massimiliano Allegri.

In the match against Bologna at the San Siro stadium, in the third round of Serie A, Luka broke the deadlock with a brilliant shot as usual.

Modrić's First Goal for Milan

The goal came in the 61st minute when Milan was searching for a goal against last season's Coppa Italia champions. The solution came from Luka.

Saelemaekers broke free on the right flank and passed the ball to Luka Modrić, who was making a run from behind. The Croatian struck a low right-footed shot past the Polish goalkeeper Łukasz Skorupski.

This goal is the Croatian star's first for AC Milan, after he had assisted a goal in the previous match against Lecce when he sent in a cross for English player Loftus-Cheek.

Modrić became the sixth oldest goal scorer in Serie A history, having scored the goal at the age of 40 years and 5 days.
