Press reports have revealed anger from Valencia club due to the selection of the Johan Cruyff Stadium to host their match against Barcelona in La Liga.

Barcelona will host Valencia next Sunday in the fourth round of the Spanish La Liga, at exactly 10 PM Cairo and Mecca time.

La Liga officially announced that the match will be held at the Johan Cruyff Stadium, due to the unavailability of Camp Nou and Montjuïc stadiums to host the encounter.

Valencia's Anger Before Facing Barcelona

Media close to Valencia club, specifically the newspaper “Super Deporte”, erupted against La Liga and the Catalan club, and wrote: “La Liga allows another injustice in favor of Barcelona, the match will be held in a stadium with only 6000 spectators allowed.”

The Blaugrana had confirmed that all seats would be for their fans, and thus Valencia's team would be without fans in the match, and the Bats would have no tickets.

Valencia club believes they have been wronged by being denied their fans the chance to attend the match and support the team against the Blaugrana, with the Catalan club relying on La Liga's leniency.

The Valencia Supporters' Association issued a statement complaining about the situation and expressing their regret that, five days before the match, a stadium is being designated that does not comply with league regulations.

The statement read: “La Liga's association has underestimated our fans, and the same people always benefit. We are tired of this.”
