Yasser Al-Misehal, President of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation, revealed that the Saudi Federation has received several official offers from different countries to host the next edition of the Saudi Super Cup outside the Kingdom during the coming period.

Al-Mishal explained that the great success achieved by the tournament at the organizational and public levels in Hong Kong contributed to increasing international interest in hosting the event, after the last edition received wide follow-up and remarkable public attendance.

He indicated that a number of parties have already applied. With official offers to organize the tournament, in light of the increasing popularity that Saudi football and local tournaments outside the Kingdom have enjoyed in recent years.

The President of the Saudi Federation confirmed that all submitted files are currently being studied in coordination with the Commercial Committee, in order to choose the most appropriate offer to ensure the continued success of the tournament and its expansion at the global level.

He added that the decision to choose the host country will not depend only on the financial value of the offers, but rather several other aspects will be evaluated, including organization, marketing and public attendance, with the aim of presenting a version worthy of the scale of development that has been achieved. Al-Mishal stressed that the next edition of the Saudi Super League is receiving great attention from several countries, especially in light of the rapid growth witnessed by the Saudi Pro League, and the increasing presence of international stars in the competition.

He concluded his statements by emphasizing that the Saudi Federation will officially announce the identity of the country hosting the tournament after completing the review and study of all the offers submitted during the coming period.
