Injury snatches the World Cup dream from Barcelona's young talent
FC Barcelona announced in an official medical statement the details of the injury suffered by young team player Fermín López during the last match against Real Betis in the Spanish League.

According to Spanish press reports, the period of Fermin’s absence may extend to no less than two months, which means that he will almost certainly be absent from the next World Cup tournament with the Spain national football team.
The absence of the young player represents a blow. Influential for the Spanish national team, especially after the distinguished performances he presented this season in the Barcelona shirt, where he succeeded in scoring 13 goals and making 17 assists, becoming one of the most prominent rising names in Spanish football during the recent period.
