Torop's departure is closer than ever within Al-Ahly
The journalist Ahmed Shobier revealed that Jes Torup, the technical director of Al Ahly SC, is about to leave his position during the coming period, in light of the recent developments related to his future with the team.
Shobier explained that the coach’s agent had already arrived in Cairo during the past hours, and began holding friendly sessions with Torup to discuss the final position and determine the future of the experiment, without any official meeting yet with the Al-Ahly club management.
He indicated that there is a mutual conviction between the two parties. It is difficult for cooperation to continue, as the coach believes that the current season has witnessed many challenges and difficult circumstances, while the Al-Ahly administration tends to end the experiment due to the failure to achieve the results that the fans and the administration were waiting for.
Schubert added that matters are now close to being resolved amicably, stressing that the final agreement may be reached after the confrontation with Al Masry SC, with the coach receiving his full financial dues in accordance with the terms of the penalty clause in his contract.
He also indicated that the negotiations are proceeding positively between all parties, amid a common desire to end the relationship in a good way. Professional and friendly, maintaining mutual respect between the club and the coach.
Schubert concluded his statements by emphasizing that the two parties are very close to reaching a final agreement to terminate the contract by mutual consent, while maintaining a good relationship and a positive image after the end of the experience.
