Sergio Ramos enters Sevilla takeover project
Spanish press reports revealed that a preliminary agreement had been reached to sell Sevilla FC, following a lengthy meeting that brought together a number of the main parties involved in the deal, in a move that may pave the way for a new phase within the Andalusian club during the coming period.
According to what was reported by Marca newspaper, a hotel in Seville witnessed a meeting that lasted approximately two hours, in the presence of Sergio Ramos and Martin Inck, CEO of Five Eleven Capital, along with the club’s major shareholders, where the lines were agreed upon. The report indicated that intensive negotiations actually began last January, after direct contacts took place with the club’s major shareholders, before signing a letter of intent and entering into an exclusive negotiation period extending until May 31.
