Arsenal hits hard...a clean hat-trick confirms the lead
Arsenal achieved a great victory over its guest Fulham by 3-0, in the confrontation that brought them together at the Emirates Stadium in the 35th round of the English Premier League.
Arsenal imposed its control over the course of the match from the first minutes, and succeeded in opening the scoring early in the 9th minute through Viktor Gyökeres, after following up on a perfect cross from Bukayo Saka and putting it into the net.
And before the end of the first half, Saka returned. He left his mark this time with a second goal in the 40th minute, after he received a pass from Gyukiris and shot a powerful low ball into the Fulham goal.
In stoppage time of the same half, Gyukiris continued his brilliance and added the third goal for Arsenal with a wonderful header in the 45+4 minute, taking advantage of an accurate cross sent by Leandro Trossard.
With this victory, Arsenal strengthened its position at the top of the standings after raising the score. Its score is 76 points, temporarily 6 points behind Manchester City, which has two matches in hand, while Fulham's score is frozen at 48 points in tenth place.
