The lead is getting stronger.. Al-Nasr continues its victories with confidence
Al-Nasr achieved an important victory away from home at the expense of Al-Ettifaq with a score of 1-0, in a strong confrontation within the Saudi League competitions, to maintain its pressure in the struggle for the lead.
The only goal of the match came in the 31st minute by Kingsley Coman, who took advantage of one of the offensive opportunities to give his team the lead, in a match that witnessed a clear advantage for Al-Nasr in terms of performance.
Al-Nasr dominated the course of the match, as it excelled in possession by 56% compared to 44%. For Al-Ettifaq, he also scored 20 shots compared to only 7 for the home team, with 5 attempts on goal compared to 2, which reflects the offensive difference between the two teams.
Despite Al-Ettifaq’s attempts to come back in the result, Al-Nasr’s defense maintained its cohesion, while the home team’s task was complicated after the player Jack Hendry was sent off in the 90+5 minute, so the team completed the final minutes with a reduced number.
With this victory, Al-Nassr raised its score to 76 points at the top of the table. The ranking, moving away from its pursuers, as Al-Hilal comes in second place with 68 points, then Al-Ahly third with 66 points.
On the other hand, Al-Ettifaq’s balance froze at 42 points in seventh place, continuing its distance from the competition centers, and becoming required to improve its results in the coming rounds.
This victory confirms the strength of Al-Nasr this season, in light of its continued achievement of positive results, and its approaching a new step towards clinching the league title.
