To the semi-finals... Zamalek continues its journey in the Confederation
Zamalek SC booked its place in the semi-finals of the African Confederation Cup, after defeating its guest AS Otoho, 2-1, in the second leg of the quarter-finals, which was held at Cairo International Stadium.
Zamalek entered the match strongly, as it succeeded in taking an early lead through Hossam Abdelmaguid in the 17th minute, before Oday Dabbagh increased the score with a second goal in the 24th minute, putting the white team in a strong position. Comfortable.
In the second half, the Congolese team tried to come back in the result, and succeeded in reducing the difference through Grace Mafoungou in the 83rd minute, but that was not enough to change the course of qualification.
