Spain reveals the list of matches against Egypt and Serbia
The coach of the Spanish national team, Luis de la Fuente, announced today, Friday, the list of “La Roja” that will participate in the next camp, in preparation for the two friendly matches against Serbia and Egypt, scheduled for March 27 and 31.
The list witnessed the emergence of a remarkable new name, represented by the young goalkeeper Joan Garcia, the Barcelona player, who is joining for the first time to give the technical staff an additional option in the goalkeeping position.
It is expected that it will be held. The first match will be against the Serbian national team in the city of Villarreal, and the second match will be played against the Egyptian national team at the Cornellà El Prat Stadium in Barcelona, as part of the Spanish national team’s preparations for the upcoming events, most notably the World Cup finals.
The list included a mixture of key players and young names, and came as follows:
Goalkeepers: Unai Simon, David Raya, Alex Remiro, Joan Garcia.
Defense line: Pedro Boro, Marcos Llorente, Aymeric Laporte, Den Huysen, Mosquera, Pau Cobarce, Mark Cucurella, Alejandro Grimaldo.
Midfield: Rodri, Pedri, Dani Olmo, Martin Zubimendi, Alex Garcia, Pablo Fornals, Carlos Soler, Fermin Lopez.
Forward line: Lamine Yamal, Ferran Torres, Mikel Oyarzabal, Alex Baena, Borja. Iglesias, Jeremi Beno, Ander Barenechea.
The Spanish national team is scheduled to begin its gathering on Monday, March 23, at the federation’s headquarters in “Las Rozas” in Madrid, before heading to play the two friendly matches, as part of serious preparations for the next stage.
