AC Milan makes a strong statement in the derby and ignites the Serie A title race.

AC Milan secured a valuable 1–0 victory over their city rivals Inter Milan in the Milan derby played during Matchday 28 of Serie A at San Siro Stadium.

The only goal of the match came in the 35th minute through Pervis Estupiñán, who capitalized on a scoring opportunity to give Milan the lead and ultimately secure the derby win for the Rossoneri.

Inter Milan enjoyed more possession throughout the match and attempted to control the tempo of the game, creating several chances. However, they were unable to convert those opportunities into goals against Milan’s well-organized defense.

With this victory, AC Milan raised their tally to 60 points, moving into second place in the Serie A standings and continuing the pressure in the race for the league title.

Meanwhile, Inter Milan remain at the top of the table with 67 points, despite suffering a disappointing defeat in the Milan derby after failing to find an equalizer.
