Despite absences… Real Madrid continue preparations for the decisive Benfica clash
Real Madrid step up preparations for decisive Benfica clash in Champions League
Real Madrid CF are intensifying their preparations ahead of Wednesday’s second-leg playoff against SL Benfica, aiming to secure a place in the Round of 16 of the UEFA Champions League. The Spanish side enter the fixture following a 2-1 league defeat to CA Osasuna.
The training session was marked by the absence of Éder Militão, Jude Bellingham, Dean Huijsen, and Dani Ceballos, while favorable weather conditions helped create a positive atmosphere during practice.
Fitness coach Antonio Pintus oversaw the session, which began with warm-up drills before moving into tactical exercises involving the ball.
Los Blancos are scheduled to complete their preparations on Tuesday ahead of the decisive encounter at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, set for 10:00 PM Cairo time. Real Madrid will look to capitalize on their 1-0 first-leg advantage to confirm qualification for the Round of 16.
