City strike hard and ignite the title race with a three-goal victory over Fulham

Manchester City secured an important 3-0 victory over Fulham in Matchweek 26 of the Premier League at the Etihad Stadium.

City opened the scoring in the 24th minute through Antoine Semenyo, who capitalized on a deflected cross that fell kindly to him inside the box, calmly converting it into the net.

The hosts quickly doubled their lead in the 30th minute, as Nico O’Reilly finished off a swift counterattack initiated by Semenyo. Just before halftime, Erling Haaland added the third goal in the 39th minute with a precise low strike following a well-timed assist from Phil Foden.

With this result, Manchester City moved up to 53 points in second place, temporarily closing the gap to three points behind leaders Arsenal, while Fulham remain on 34 points in 12th position.
