Al Ahly and JS Kabylie played out a goalless 0-0 draw in their CAF Champions League group stage clash on Saturday evening, as part of Matchday 5.
The match saw Al Ahly’s Mahmoud Hassan Trezeguet forced off due to injury at the start of the second half in the 46th minute, with Taher Mohamed Taher coming on as his replacement.
With this result, Al Ahly moved up to 9 points, maintaining top spot in their group, while JS Kabylie reached 3 points, remaining bottom of the standings.
The draw was enough for Al Ahly to secure qualification to the quarterfinals of the CAF Champions League with one round still to play.
