Consecutive wins and a convincing performance… United defeat Tottenham

Manchester United secured a valuable 2-0 victory over Tottenham Hotspur in Matchday 25 of the Premier League, in a match played at Old Trafford.

Tottenham were reduced to ten men early on after Cristian Romero was sent off in the 29th minute following a challenge on Casemiro. United took advantage of the situation, with Bryan Mbeumo opening the scoring in the 38th minute after an assist from Kobbie Mainoo.

In the second half, United maintained control and sealed the win in the 81st minute, as captain Bruno Fernandes finished a cross from Diogo Dalot inside the penalty area.

With this result, Manchester United climbed to 44 points in fourth place, while Tottenham Hotspur remained on 29 points in 14th position temporarily.
