Barcelona secured a deserved 2-1 victory over hosts Albacete at the Carlos Belmonte Stadium, booking their place in the semi-finals of the Copa del Rey.

Lamine Yamal opened the scoring in the 39th minute with a brilliant strike, following a precise assist from Frenkie de Jong. In the second half, Ronald Araújo doubled Barcelona’s lead in the 56th minute with a powerful header from a corner kick delivered by Marcus Rashford.

Albacete managed to pull one back late on through Javi Moreno in the 87th minute, but it was not enough to stop Barcelona from advancing to the next round.
