A possible return? Carrick considers bringing Rashford back to Old Trafford
According to The Telegraph, interim Manchester United manager Michael Carrick has made the return of Marcus Rashford a key priority, should he remain in charge beyond the end of the current season.
Carrick took over the team on a temporary basis following the dismissal of Ruben Amorim, as the club looks to restore stability before appointing a permanent manager.
Meanwhile, Rashford is spending the season on loan at Barcelona, with the Catalan club holding an option to sign him permanently for around €35 million.
The England international has impressed during his spell in Spain, though Barcelona have yet to make a final decision regarding the activation of the purchase clause.
Rashford has featured in 31 matches across all competitions this season, scoring 9 goals and providing 12 assists.
