Espérance Sportive de Tunis secured a 1-0 victory over Al Ahly SC in the first leg of the CAF Champions League quarterfinals at Stade Olympique Hammadi Agrebi.The only goal of the match came in the 72nd minute when Mohamed Amine Tougai converted a penalty to give the Tunisian side a valuable advantage.Al Ahly reached the quarterfinals after finishing top of Group B with 10 points, while Espérance qualified after finishing second in Group D with 9 points.The second leg will be played at Cairo International Stadium on March 21, where the qualification to the semifinals will be decided.
